1. Signed the offer letter from Adelphia. It's official!
2. Apparently I get paid sooner than I thought. I get paid the friday of the last week of the 2 week pay period. They assume I work for that extra day.
3. Helped Dave get stuff done. I wished he managed time a little better, but things don't always work out the way we plan.
4. Weather was pretty comfortable. Got to walk around in shorts/sandals.
5. The last episode of Enterprise. I suppose they could have done worse. Then again they could have done much better too.

I missed Wednesday's update so I'll double up today.

1. I got a call from Adelphia to set up an interview!
2. Subsequent to that interview, I am hired as a new technical support rep!
3. I can fit in my old dress shirt again!
4. My last exam was on Wednesday, and I did really well on it(I hope)
5. I got a high grade on my lab practical too!
6. What's great about being hired at Adelphia is that I start work on Monday. No interrupt in money flow.
7. I also get discounted cable tv/internet for 10 bucks a month
8. My diet is proceeding along quite well. I'm very happy with my efforts.
9. I only hope I can keep school at the same time as work. Should be interesting to figure out.
10. My faith in God has brought me from shadow into the light. I continue to pray, even with all these great things happening, because He has given me much for which to be thankful. THANK YOU BIG GUY! ^_^b

1. Second-to-last episode of Enterprise, and it was a cliffhanger. I keep waiting for some Paramount exec to pop out of a hat and say, "Just kidding! Enterprise still goes on!" I'm gonna miss this show
2. I got in and out of inventory today in 5 hours. Fantastic! That's pretty fast.
3. Excellent study session with my friend. I think I'm ready...
4. Exam tomorrow. 9:40am in the morning. It's gonna be a tight squeeze when it comes to work, but I'll be there, and I'll be ready. Wish me luck!

5. Got a call from Adelphia! This could be good news!

1. Work wasn't too bad. Did some of the inventory today to stave off a big day tomorrow.
2. Met up with a study group but we didn't really get anything done. I did help one of my buddies though with another class.
3. Diet seems to be progressing well. I've received two comments that I've lost weight
4. I went for a walk today. The weather was great for it.
5. I just got Friday's Enterprise episode. Looks to be good, and I'll watch it before bedtime. Next week is it though

1. My car got a flat tire, but I fixed it!
2. Saturday I had a little party here. One of the little addictions I've had is Warhammer 40,000- a table-top game where you build and paint miniatures and then use them as pieces in a battle. Think of Warcraft on a table. Had a bunch of guys over and played the game.
3. I learned that I do not have to take my educational psychology exam. I'm thankful for that, because with all that the teacher gave us- telling us what questions were going to be asked, open notebook, multiple choice- the exam seems to be very much like a waste of time.
4. Despite an initial connection fiasco, I managed to pull out a decent Retro Lunch show tonight. Fantastic!
5. I need to call work in the morning to see about getting new work soon. Here's hoping I get a good job

1. It's Friday. No class!
2. Work was dead easy. Gots me paycheck too.
3. Tutored a couple ladies at school in the art of chemistry. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon.
4. Gamed with Dave four several hours.
5. I was only on it for an hour, but the GooberZone kicked ass.

Since goob has such a nice format for his dreams, I figure it would only flatter him to use the same.

I'm in a room with two other people I do not recognize. They appear to be in some sort of black military uniform. An officer walks into the room, gives each of us a rifle, and tells us to get out of the room.

Suddenly I'm outside on the water with a number of other soldiers in that same black uniform. I'm literally standing on the water with the other soldiers. There seems to be some kind of device that lets us stand on it if we 'concentrate' hard enough. So I concentrate while several jets fly past, dropping bombs and firing rounds at us. One jet fighter is struck by a gunship. However, that jet crashes into the gunship with a firey explosion. Meanwhile, soldiers are being dropped from transport planes and they start swimming toward us soldiers standing on the water. The commander orders us to fire and I hesitate while the other soldiers fire. I am yelled at for not firing, so I relent and I start shooting soldiers in the water. It's a bloodbath, and quite simple. The soldiers in the water keep coming despite getting shot at like fish in a barrel. One of the soldiers manages to get close to me and pulls me headfirst into the water. I hold onto my gun and one of my fellow soldiers shoots my attacker and yells at me to concentrate to rise out of the water. I do so and much like walking up invisible stairs, I rise out of the water and continue to fire on people who have no real chance of surviving.

Then I woke up.

1. Today is 05/05/05... Can't wait for 06/06/06 next year!
2. I kicked ass on my lab practical today! I'm sure I only missed 4-5 questions out of 50, so no worries there.
3. Chatted with my friend we traded some pictures too. Silly fun stuff
4. Baked chicken coated in spaghetti sauce tastes pretty damn good If there is one thing I can do, it's cook.
5. I'm satisfied with today. Doesn't always happen, but today it's good to be content.

1. Megatokyo just keeps getting better and better. Its cool that a webcomic doesn't have to be funny to be good.
2. Got news that my boss can give me some more work for the summer... but will it be enough?
3. Issue 4 of City of Heroes has been released! PvP is in, as well as the new body morphing. Now all the women are super-thin with bazooka boobs. Hurray for modern technology!
4. I think I've come up with a plan for losing weight. More on this later...
5. Today is essentially the last day of classes. w00t! Just a lab practical, and two exams left.

1. I got nearly all my work done for EDU 416(the literacy class). All I need to do is type up my lesson plan but I can do that at school. Last lesson Wish me luck
2. I really enjoy spending time with my friend as we play music for each other.
3. It took 8 bucks, but I got all my laundry done. I really wish the dryers didn't suck(as opposed to blowing?)
4. Talked to my boss today, she's going to see about finding me some good work this summer. It's a fallback plan if I don't get hired for People's Inc, or Adelphia, or other.
5. I'm going to look into alternative low-carb diets. I seem to be losing weight, despite my problems with following Atkins. The other choices look to be a little more... lenient.

1. PHEW No exam today... though the practice has been really helpful. I'm confident I'll do quite nicely on the exam next week.
2. I don't know what it is, but I felt great all day. Was it good sleep? It was something... but it made me quite happy and exuberant.
3. I am fully registered for classes! I don't have to worry about getting into any of them, so that's a relief.
4. I got mail today telling me I am approved for my student loans. Unfortunately I don't get TAP(Tuition Assistance Program) because I already collected it for four years back at UB. Oh well.
5. The search goes on for a decent summer job. I'm confident I'll find one.

1. Got to see XXX: State of the Union. A pretty good action film, with Xzibit playing a role in the film. I'm not much for Rap but I do enjoy X's character.
2. I also got to see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Really good, and I think it kept to the spirit of the books. Douglas Adams would be proud.
3. Filled out an application for Adelphia Good things can come of it
4. Been doing some sketching lately. Trying to find that artistic side people say I have.
5. Did some studying for the Zoology Lab Practical, and my friend gave me two things. One is an egg-shaped thing with a two-faced mask painted on it. She said it represents the Beijing Theatre. I have it hanging up in my car. The other thing she gave me is sort of a friendship tag, with a couple fancy knots and psuedo-coins tied into it. She said it'd make a great key chain so that's where it is I will cherish these gifts.

2. Was a little late for class but still not bad. Its all coming down to the last exam.
3. Got some studying done for the Zoology Lab practical exam. not bad.
4. Leveled one of my characters 20 so many good things happen then.
5. Great Goober Zone as usual

1. Spent more than 3 hours at work waiting for my delivery guy to show up... he ran late so I never met up with him. At least I got paid for the extra time
2. Last Zoology lab. We dissected a fish among other things. My TA is great, gonna miss her.
3. It didn't quite reach 50 degrees today but I wore long pants and sandals. It was an experience, and I think it was a good one
4. I learned never to buy food at Long John Silver's. I bought some mixed platter and it all tasted the same. The shrimp, the chicken, and the fish all tasted like crap. I tasted a french fry and even that was crap. Ugh, never trust fast seafood.
5. Felt good to just relax tonight. Played some City of Heroes, listened to my favorite dance music... Ah bliss...
