Weird

by

I'm a student at some sort of boarding school. I'm young and surprisingly agile. I have a female partner in this place, although I have the odd sensation that she isn't really my friend. She is a brunette and somewhat younger than I. I do not recognize her face. I distrust the adults at this place because they are there to bring down swift discipline.

My partner likes to get into trouble and I am suspicious she wants me to join her in mischievousness. We're walking outside in between classes. the boarding school is set up very much like UB's south campus. The one building I see time and again appears to be a church. Outside the church some landscapers are planting trees under the watchful eyes of two policewomen(prison labor?). They are also using a drill with an auger bit to bring up dirt, and then placing some sort of explosive charge in the hole. My partner 'sneaks off' but I watch her out of the corner of my eye. She manages to get a hold of a drill and an explosive charge, and it would appear that she is going to plant the charge much like the landscapers, only it'll be a full explosive charge and not the devices the landscapers are using. I ponder if her drill is wide enough to drill the hole she wants.

I inform one of the policewomen about my partner's intentions and she shrugs it off. "Girls will be girls," she says in a rather fake Irish accent. I ask her what the explosive charge is for, but rather than explain its purpose, she explains what it does. The charge is actually mostly a metal piston, with the flat end buried inside the charge, and the explosive on the very end. She explains that the explosive makes the piston go down(sounds like the piston in an engine).

Rather than deal with this crap(I actually thought that), I head for the boundaries of the school property. The school apparently is in an urban area, and I reach the street and a long wall of a height of 4 feet. On the other side is a repair garage, although its parking lot is in serious need of repair and the whole place looks covered in dirt and oil. Business seems good though as you can hear work going on in the background.

I notice my Chrysler LHS is sitting there in the parking lot, but I'm still a youthful lad and I know I don't have my license yet. I walk into the garage and it turns out its the location of my dad's friend's repair shop. He offers to fix my car but won't let me go in the back to see it done. I walk out the door and I hear and explosion. I think to myself, "I don't have to deal with her anymore." Then I awaken.

Attention: Tuesday

by

1. Excellent day at work- I took some of my first calls and although I made a couple mistakes, I managed to hold together and help people out :D
2. Purchased my own High Speed Internet. I feel like an adult now :D
3. I mentioned before about how boredom had spawned an interest in crafting friendship bracelets... Well boredom attacked again, and this time I didn't make as many mistakes. Oddly enough, I find the 'art' rather relaxing.
4. Did my bills today. Feels like much the same- pay out money and have none for later... But at least I'm comforted that I'll have many more paychecks to follow :D
5. Probably the best lunch foods come from picnic leftovers. I snagged some goodies from the picnic my family had on Monday, and I can't tell you how satisfying the macaroni salad and fruit salad were today at lunch. :-9

Weekend Roundup, Extended Edition

by

1. Chatted it up with DG again :D
2. Fantastic Retro Lunch! We topped 6 listeners, with a steady 4-5 the rest of the night.
3. Sunday morning I got to hear my uncle preach. It was an awesome sermon about how one needs to stop and listen to hear God. You might think you're on the right path but you think you are going to get into heaven, chances are you're just posing.
4. My aunt gave me a SoundBlaster live! card. Fantastic! I don't need to waste money on an Audigy2. After a little trickery I managed to get it up and running too.
5. Finally watched Return of the King Extended Edition. Unbelievably good. I might even suggest that it's better than Star Wars*cough* cough*
6. Awesome picnic at my dad's. Ate food, drank pop. Good times had by all.
7. Managed to snag some goodies from the picnic too :D love that potato salad.
8. I learned how to make a friendship bracelet- a combination of boredom and curiosity urged me on. Not too bad.
9. I'm back home, I have dishes to clean, my cat is all over me... Its good to be home :D

3. Payday tomorrow! After rent and bills, it looks like I'll have just enough for food and gas. It all works out.
4. Watching Two Towers again. Gets better and better each time.
5. Its been one of those days... I pride myself as a rather independent man, but some days I really wish for someone to give me attention for a change :(

Monday Musings

by

1. Work wasn't too bad. I'm getting the hang of the call center. Its really a trick of knowing the tools.
2. Finally got around to moving my desk out of my bedroom. I really like this setup, and it'll be much more comfortable now.
3. Cooked up a delicious chicken dinner. I bought these leg quarters from Sam's Club and they are fantastic. Much better than any chicken I've purchased before. Gonna take some to lunch tomorrow :D
4. Finally got around to watching some of the extra content from the LOTR Extended Edition DVDs. Lots of great stuff :D
5. Chatted with Arche tonight. I don't know if she realizes it but I do appreciate talking to her. I may pick on her but I hope knows I'm only kidding.

Weekend? There was a weekend here?

by

1. Video chat is the funnest thing ever. Did some more of that yesterday :D
2. My dad and step-mom visited Saturday morning for breakfast. Unfortunately my cell phone turned off when it ran out of power so I didn't get any of the 6 calls they made while being outside the building. Thankfully I checked it and called them and they came back while not getting too far.
3. My sister stayed over too. We went to Wegman's for a few things and she wanted beads. Couldn't find a place locally and I fell asleep(ever get so tired that you take a nap, and you just can't bring yourself to wake up and stay up?). After the nap I we went to the local Chinese buffet place and had a delicious meal. We also started to watch LOTR: The Two Towers but had to end it before putting in the second DVD. I hope to finish it next week when I visit(and own the ROTK Extended Edition too)
4. My niece and nephew's confirmation was today. I'm so proud of them to take the vows of acceptance. It was nice going to church too. I need to do that more often.
5. Retro Lunch, my show on the Active Worlds Radio station, went smoothly and Jag and I talked about grits and oatmeal. He's gonna send me some grits, I'm gonna send him some oatmeal.

Sweet Sweet Friday Nights

by

1. First week of training is over! Its so good to be dutifully employed!
2. Alas I didn't get my last paycheck from AVI yet, but its soon to come. My electric bill was much smaller, now that I turn my comp off for the night.
3. Cleaned up my living room, and I've got an awesome setup for it! It's gonna look sweet.
4. Stopped on Goober Zone show tonight, lots of fun, and I got to see Arche's webcam :D
5. I also got to talk to Digigurl on the webcam (I love this thing). I'm so glad to have her as a friend. These goofy conversations really make me look forward to the weekends :D :D

What day is it?

by

1. I managed to stay awake with only 3 hours of sleep. With a steady dose of caffeine and support of my fellow trainees, I didn't collapse anywhere.
2. Babysat my niece and nephew, which was fun. We had a little cookout for dinner and I taught my nephew how to play King's Corners. Unfortunately my niece took every opportunity to break the rules set down.
3. Well uh I managed to get home in one piece, even after such a long day.

I can't honestly come up with any more. Not much happened today as I was in a caffeinated stupor all day.

Monday Monday

by

1. First day as an Adelphia Employee. Not too bad, mostly orientation and explanation of the benefits- most of them are pretty awesome.
2. Got a free lunch too :D
3. Judging by the explanations, I might choose to reduce the number of classes I'm in so I can still work full time at Adelphia. Unfortunately, the really cool benefits for students don't come until after you're there a year.
4. Gonna watch Star Wars: Episode I tonight and II tomorrow afternoon so I can be prepared for
5. Star Wars: Episode III Tomorrow night! W00t! Hope this doesn't interrupt my sleep schedule hehehe.

Weekend Round around

by

1. So I was having a bummed day Saturday. Friday wasn't all that great and the next day I was depressed. Digigurl comes along and we chat for 4 hours and just plain goof around. Totally made my day. My cheeks hurt so much from all the smiling I did. Thank you so much DG :)
2. My buddy Dave gave me a bunch of shirts which fit quite well. Its good to get new clothing without actually having to pay for it :)
3. I got some errands done today. Did my laundry, AND I cleaned up my living room. Busy but satisfied.
4. Retro Lunch show for AWRadio went by pretty quickly. Only had one drop off but that was quickly resolved. Jag was in it so we're finally getting the show on its feet again.
5. Tomorrow I start my full time job. I'm excited and I hope things go great. :D
